Happily settled into a marriage I originally wanted nothing to do with. Surrounded by various rescued dogs and cats (2 and 4, respectively). Confined to the couch most days with a bad back, and can't stand daytime TV, so I spend my time ensconsed in the fiber arts (embroidery, knitting, lucet-work, etc.). If I'm able to sit up, then you'll find me at the spinning wheel (so hooked on it, I share my home with 4 wheels). Went through a lot of reflection the past couple of years (lost close to 15 good friends and family through death), and have weeded out a lot of the negativity in my life. It's a lot quieter now =grin=

UPDATE: Having had a spinal fusion recently, I'm off the couch a bit more than I used to be. I'm on the road to being a productive human being again. While invigorating, it's also intimidating and overwhelming at times. And so the wheel turns ...

FINE. ANOTHER UPDATE: The fusion went well and I can walk. There's still some issues that seem to be lasting, so I'm still tied to the damned couch. I am determined to find a solution, but usually can only find the humor. Ah well.
